Fr. Ivan chose NASHI to be one of his charities that he wants to support on his quadrathlon from July 11-18. He does this as his own personal annual physical retreat. This year he chose NASHI and it was so appropriate as we are celebrating our 20th Anniversary. He will be swimming, canoeing, ruck marching and biking 400km – starting in Saskatoon and going to the forks of the North and South Saskatchewan River and then biking back from there – 183 km.
NASHI organized a launch party and then the rest of the pictures are from Fr.’s journey.
You can see more of his pictures on his website and Facebook page: www.Go-the-Distance.
He is wanting to raise $30,000 to split between 3 charities that are all doing wonderful humanitarian work in Ukraine. Also, attached is an interview he did with a local tv station.
A camper, that he built, is accompanying him and has the names of the 3 charities in full view while traveling on the highway. NASHI is so appreciative of his commitment and physical fitness for someone who is 62 years old. What a feat!
Please support Fr. Ivan with a donation.
