NASHI WORKSHOP - Saturday, October 4. Human Trafficking, The Price of Silence. Trafficking is a supply and demand problem. Until we as a society stop the demand, there will be predators who will ensure steady supply of victims
NASHI wishes to inform and update you on the girls. They are still in Poland except for our 2 girls who are taking post-secondary classes - one in university and one at a technical school and both are back in Ukraine. In 2025, we and they are hoping they will be able to return to Ukraine depending on the crisis. The Maple Leaf House is in western Ukraine - close to the Polish border where it is relatively peaceful. However, should our director feel it is still unsafe they will continue their stay in Poland.
As 2024 and our 20th Anniversary comes to a close, thank you for your continued support of NASHI’S lifechanging work. To the volunteers – you have made so many impactful contributions over the past 2 decades that it would be impossible to list them all. You have put in countless hours to make NASHI the success it is. Your strengths and skills have been essential in making this world a better place. We are so grateful for all you have done.
